“Life Screenings is a showcase of films that show a world we want to live in. Curated by Orlando independent filmmaker, Banks Helfrich, this 90 minute experience includes an array of local and international short films, their creators - some Skyped in - and an encouraged conversation. Life Screenings searches for films that knock our socks off, blow us away, show something unexpected, off the wall, touching and/or unique. Life Screenings showcases monthly 4 to 7 short films from around the world. Create and send us your stories.”

“An Bosca” is also the story of childhood innocence…

Starring John Sweeney, Sarah Foley and little Caleb Mason, “An Bosca” is about homelessness and the innocence of a young child. The team shot the short film over the course of one day last April, and hope to screen this one-minute short at various national and international film festivals in order to raise further awareness of the homelessness situation in Ireland. This is the second screening of the film, and first international screening, having previously screened as part of the 8th Underground Cinema Film Festival 2018 in Dublin, Ireland.
